Censoring a newspaper

This activity is a workshop that was offered at The British Library for the KS3 pupils in the project.

It encourages the students to think about their views on censorship and whether newspapers during wartime have a responsibility to provide the truth or whether occasionally it is suitable to bend it.

This activity was accomplished during a session with 15 pupils over a 90 minute period. For a full class of 30, it is advisable to set aside two hours or perhaps spread the activities over two sessions.
