What makes a book special? How should we treat a book that is special? How can you exhibit something that is special? This project contains activities for teachers to use in a classroom setting that are centred on these key questions.

Contained in this project are images of a variety of religious books and manuscripts from The British Library's collections. There is material to download that can be used to enhance Religious Education for KS1, 2 and 3.

There are teachers' notes that give guidance on how to use the Children's Zone in the classroom. The underlying theme of the virtual gallery in the Children's Zone is religious rules.
