Above is an image of the journal of Captain Thomas James' voyage. It is dated 1633. As with most voyagers he kept a log of his travels and maps within it to pinpoint his passage and discoveries.

He was looking for a north west passage and King Charles I received this dedication of Captain Thomas James' voyage in 1633.
